Ahli Inanam perlu terus kerja keras

KOTA KINABALU, Okt 8, 2010: Para pemimpin dan ahli Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) di Inanam diingatkan agar tidak leka dengan kedudukan semasa kerana mempunyai kerusi Parlimen Sepanggar.

Presiden Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee berkata, mereka perlu sentiasa menjalankan tugas dengan penuh hemah supaya parti itu dapat mengekalkan kerusi Parlimen itu.

"Bukan setakat mengekalkan kerusi Parlimen Sepanggar saja, kita juga mahu memenangi kerusi Dewan Undangan Negeri bagi Inanam dan Karambunai pada pilihanraya kali ke-13 akan datang.

"Oleh itu, para pemimpin dan ahli parti di Inanam khasnya perlu terus melipatgandakan usaha agar hasrat untuk memenangi kedua-dua kerusi DUN yang berada dalam Parlimen Sepanggar itu dapat dicapai," katanya.

Beliau berucap merasmikan Mesyuarat Agung Tahunan gabungan cawangan-cawangan parti dalam Jawatankuasa Perhubungan Kawasan (CLC) Inanam dekat sini.

Turut hadir, Timbalan Presiden merangkap Ahli Parlimen Sepanggar Datuk Eric Majimbun yang juga pengerusi CLC Inanam, Timbalan Presiden merangkap Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Likas Datuk Liew Teck Chan, bekas Menteri Kewangan Sabah Datuk Mohd Noor Mansoor, Setiausaha Agung Datuk Richard Yong dan Naib Presiden merangkap Timbalan Speaker Datuk Frankie Chong.

Tidak ketinggalan, Naib Presiden merangkap Ahli Parlimen Tawau Datuk Dr. Chua Soon Bui, Naib Presiden Amde Sidik, Naib Presiden selaku Naib Pengerusi CLC Inanam Don Chin, Ketua Penerangan Chong Pit Fah, Ketua Pemuda Edward Dagul dan Ahli Majlis Tertinggi, Dullie Marie, Kenneth Koh dan Yong Chong Kim.

Teck Lee berkata, para ahli dan pemimpin parti di Inanam perlu ingat bahawa kelekaan boleh membawa padah kerana Barisan Nasional (BN) yang memerintah pada masa ini bukan saja kuat tetapi mempunyai jentera pilihanraya yang serba lengkap.

Katanya, kekuatan BN dalam semua segi itu boleh diatasi jika para ahli dan pemimpin SAPP di seluruh Sabah terus gandakan usaha dari semasa ke semasa.
