SAPP yakin perjuangan dapat sokongan

KOTA KINABALU, Jan 18, 2012: Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) percaya perjuangannya akan mendapat sokongan rakyat negeri ini.

"Kita banyak kehilangan yang sepatutnya menjadi hak kita. Kita mahu mengembalikan hak-hak Sabah. Inilah antara yang diperjuangkan SAPP.

"Bukan mudah untuk menuntut hak-hak itu terutama dengan sikap pemimpin-pemimpin pusat yang sering membuat tindakan mengelirukan. Mereka juga mengamalkan dasar 'pecah dan perintah'," kata Timbalan Presiden SAPP, Datuk Eric Majimbun.

Beliau yang juga Ahli Parlimen Sepangar berkata demikian semasa menyampaikan buah tangan sempena perayaan Tahun Baharu Cina daripada SAPP kepada 100 warga emas di Dewan Masyarakat Menggatal dekat sini kelmarin.

"Saya percaya rakyat, negeri ini tahu siapa yang benar-benar berjuang untuk mereka" katanya.

Menurutnya, SAPP juga telah merangkan beberapa pelan yang akan dilaksanakan sekiranya membentuk kerajaan nanti.

"Kelmarin SAPP telah telah melancarkan Pelan Ekonomi Sabah yang antara lain mengandungi kaedah bagaimana, memperoleh pendapatan mencecah RM5 bilion menjelang tahun 2015" katanya.

SAPP juga mencadangkan agar Sabah Air menjalinkan kerjasama dengan Royal Brunei Air untuk mewujudkan hab penerbangan Borneo.

"Tahun lalu, SAPP juga telah merangka beberapa pelan terutama mengenai hak-hak rakyat negeri ini seperti tanah," katanya.

Eric seterusnya berharap parti-parti pembangkang dapat mencapai kesepakatan untuk saling berkerja sama menghadapi BN khususnya Umno menjelang pilihanraya umum yang dijangka akan diadakan tahun ini.

Turut bersama pada majlis itu ialah Naib Presiden SAPP pusat dan CLC Inanam, Don H.K Chin.
