BN enggan bubar takut kalah

PENAMPANG, 16 Julai 2012: President Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP) Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee Barisan Nasional (BN) enggan bubar Parlimen and Dewan Undangan Negeri Sabah sebelum tempoh berakhir kerana mereka bimbang akan kalah.

Teck Lee berkata, pilihan raya kali ke-13 dijangkakan akan di adakan samada pada Jun atau Julai tetapi tidak menjadi kenyataan.

"Barisan Nasional telah mengagihkan RM500 kepada setiap ketua keluarga yang di kenali BR1M sebelum Jun dan sepatutnya diikuti dengan pembubaran Parlimen dan Dewan Undangan Negeri Sabah.

"Bagaimanapun, maklum balas yang diterima daripada setiap negeri menunjukkan BN akan kalah dan oleh sebab itu mereka batalkan rancangan untuk mengadakan pilihan raya awal.

"Kini BN dijangka akan mengadakan pilihan raya samada pada September atau November iaitu selepas Hari Raya Puasa atau selepas Hari Raya Haji.

"Pusingan kedua pengagihan RM500 akan diadakan sebelum pilihan raya," kata Teck Lee ketika merasmikan pejabat SAPP bagi Jawatankuasa Perhubungan Kawasan (CLC) Moyog di Dongonggon Point, di sini.

Hadir sama Penasihat SAPP dan mantan Menteri Kewangan Sabah Datuk Mohd Noor Mansoor, Timbalan Presiden merangkap Ahli Parlimen Sepanggar Datuk Eric Majimbun, Timbalan Presiden merangkap Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Likas Datuk Liew Teck Chan, Timbalan Presiden Tuan Haji Amde Sidik dan Pengerusi SAPP Moyog Aloysius Danim Siap.

Turut hadir, Setiausaha Agung SAPP Datuk Richard Yong, Bendahari Agung Dullie Marie, Ketua Penerangan Chong Pit Fah, Ketua Wanita merangkap ADUN Luyang Melanie Chia, Ketua Pemuda Edward Dagul dan para Ahli Majlis Tertinggi parti.

Teck Lee berkata, Parlimen dan Dewan Undangan Negeri Sabah akan dibubar samada pada Februari atau Mac 2013 apabila BN mendapati Septemner atau November tahun ini tidak sesuai.

Bagaimanapun, Teck Lee berkata, pilihan raya umum kali ke-13 mesti diadakan apabila tempoh lima tahun tamat pada Mac 2013.

Katanya, SAPP sudah bersiap sedia menghadapi pilihan raya jika diadakan pada bila-bila masa sahaja.
